Hello friends! I hope you are all having a good week. It’s been a solid one for me this week. Some ups, some downs, and of course things didn’t go according to plan, but you just have to adjust and do what you can. What do you do when you can’t really do anything? You do what you can. Stole that from Adult Swim’s The Bondocks such an incredible show.
So if you skipped the housekeeping section above on Monday I launched a new project on Kickstarter! I have been posting about it none stop, but social media is ass so honestly this is the first a lot of you are probably hearing about it. Hospice: The Collector could use your support!
This is a part of a shared horror universe. I was very lucky to slide in to be a part of season 2! Now I had to pitch and apply to be in this. Many applied, but not everyone got in. Part of the deciding factor was past Kickstarters. Backer numbers, if people fulfilled, things like that. It was all of your support which helped me land this.

I would make comics even if no one read them. I am lucky to have a small cult following of readers who support me. I’ve gotten to do some cool things because of the support I have received from all of you (and many others who don’t want to hear from me every week).
This new project is based on a person I was very close with. My cousin Allen who I watched pass away in a Hospice. He was an avid comic book collector and left me his entire comic collection. I won’t get into insane details, but if you want to know more I did do an interview with myself about it here:
I understand times are tough right now, but even a dollar helps. People are paying attention to backer number and amount raised. I keep putting things out and show I can make money it could lead to bigger and bigger projects. Snowball into an entire career. If you are hard up for cash, but can spare a dollar message me after you back and I’ll make sure you get a digital copy. I’ve been in the position before so I understand. Life is fucking hard.
In case you missed last weeks newsletter I recently started as a staff write for Comic Book Resources. I’ll be covering all things comics: news, lists, articles, etc. So far it has been great. I am still getting used to all the none writing stuff, but it’s getting much better.
More people are reading my writing then ever before. I’m writing for a website I checked daily growing up and getting paid to do so. Things are really looking up. Bad times (just like good times) don’t last forever. All feelings are temporary so enjoy the good when it’s here and remember the bad will go away eventually.
Thank you everyone for reading my words. It really does mean the world to me. Until next time don’t be a dick, be excellent everyone.
