Sleep:

Hey everyone! Been a minute I missed last week I’ve been struggling (aren’t I always). My sleep schedule has been terrible. I don’t know how to relay I haven’t been sleeping for more then a few hours at a time. When I’m like this it realy throws off my mental health.

When I’ve not been sleeping it’s hard to do the things I need and want to do. Hard to write when I’m exhausted, exercise, cook, all of that. Luckily this last Thursday my doctor gave me some sleep meds to help me get back on track. I slept through the night the past three nights and feel amazing.

This morning I was up at 7:30 AM and got to work. I did dishes, laundry, weed wacked, exercised, it feels good to be productive especially when I’ve been trying and failing.

Old Work:

I have had a lot of things published over the years. I’m at almost 75 different comic stories published and then I’ve got interviews, articles, short stories, poetry, and other things all out in the wild. I’ve been doing videos talking about them.

Starting next week I’m going to write about a different old piece of mine each week. There is some really weird stuff.. A poem in a pro wrestling poetry and coloring book for example… and thats not even the weirdest thing about that project…

I’m excited to talk about my past stuff and relive some memories with everyone.

Comic: Wally Wood Sci-Fi Collection

I have been loving Dungeon Crawler Carl. It is fun and hilarious all while covering some very serious topics. I can’t get enough. I don’t normal do book series, but this one has me hooked.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been on my shelf for a while. It is a thick book and thick books scare me, but I’m forcing myself through it. I am about 1/3 through it right now… Some parts are amazing while other seem like they don’t need to be included at all. So I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, but I’m going to finish it…eventually.

I’ve been reading Tokyo Ghoul because the library I go to and write has a long run of it. I love manga and it’s a nice change of pace from the other things I’m reading. It’s not mind blowing and starts off slow, but I just finished volume 4 and it is really picking up and I’m enjoying it. Support your libraries people!

The stories in Wally Wood Sci-Fi Collection don’t really hold up, but what does is his amazing storytelling. His panel work remains some of the best I have ever seen. I often reference his 22 panels that always work sheet.

In Closing:

Next week I will be at the Quad Con in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If you are in the area come out and say high. The week after that I will be at O-Con (all of my upcoming events are listed below).
